Field seminar

A field seminar on debris flows in Tajikistan will take place along the Dushanbe ‒ Kalai-Khumb ‒ Khorog ‒ Kalai-Khumb ‒ Dushanbe route. One of the conference sessions will be held in Khorog at the University of Central Asia (https://ucentralasia.org). The participants will visit Lake Barsemkul, which was formed in 2015 due to the Gunt River blockage by debris flow along the Barsemdara gully. The duration of the seminar is 5 days / 4 nights. The workshop will finish in Dushanbe in the evening of September 26.
