Visa to Georgia and travel information
Citizens of many countries are allowed to enter Georgia without visas. A full list of countries whose citizens are allowed to enter without visas is available at https://www.geoconsul.gov.ge. If you need visa, please, inform us in advance so that we could send an invitation in due time for processing documents in the Embassy of Georgia in your country.
You can enter Georgia by plane, car, train, or sea vessel. Shota Rustaveli International Airport is located 15 km east of the city of Tbilisi. The airport accepts flights from many cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yerevan, Baku, Almaty, Aktau, Astana, Minsk, Kiev, Dubai, Munich, Istanbul, Vienna. From the airport, you can use bus or shuttle bus to the nearest metro station. Automobile border crossings are on the borders with Russia (Upper Lars-Dariali), Armenia (Bagratashen-Sadakhlo and others), Azerbaijan (Red Bridge and others), Turkey (Sarpi, Vala Posof).
